MC³ is a powerful methodology for measuring and improving Managerial Engagement - which is the way that managers engage with their teams.

The app is designed to focus on 4 key behaviours with a clear framework to understand how these can affect culture and business performance. It’s important to understand that MC³ is a powerful development tool for managers to reflect on what they are giving to their team and gives each user a unique journey.  

You will be empowered as a manager to improve engagement levels within your team and drive your own learning and development by exploring personalised insights to understand whereto focus and celebrate.

As a manager, you will be able to view your scores over time (if applicable) and see where you stand when compared with internal and external benchmarks. You can benchmark your scores against your own personal scores for yr. on yr. comparisons where possible,against the company average and employment group comparisons (future development).

It’s vital to understand the methodology and to ensure you are watching the MC³ videos to fundamentally understand what each element and sub-element mean, along with the statements that are asked in order to generate a score.

The app will support you in identifying where you need to focus your efforts to improve engagement levels and define the steps needed to get there. We’ll share what other managers from other organisations have done for inspiration and provide guidance the role of a 3 Star manager within your improvement area.

You can set your commitments in the app. We recommend revisiting the app to check on progress regularly and complete actions to drive improvement.

Based on your MC³ scores, we will provide you with suggested connections to enable you to build relationships with other managers internally that can best support you and share best practice.  

If you are successfully accredited, it is best practice to ensure you are fully understanding the data before proceeding into recognition.

Once you have an understanding of your scores and have taken time to digest the data, it’s time to shout about your achievements to your professional network. The certification gives you as a manager a reason to celebrate and share your success with the only official accreditation for management behaviour.
